Seeking admission in Akwa Ibom College of Arts and Science?

Or, wondering what the cut-off marks of the polytechnic is?

Well, in this post, we have clearly discussed the JAMB and departmental cut-off marks of the institution, to help you set your target aright.

Meanwhile, we must remind you that you will not gain admission into any public tertiary institution in Nigeria if you do not have the right mark. That is why you must work hard to meet this cut-off mark.

JAMB cut-off mark

The official JAMB cut-off mark of every public and private polytechnics, including Akwa Ibom College of Arts and Science is 120.

What this means is that if you do not make up to 120 in UTME, you will not be given admission. However, if by chance you fall short of this requirement, then you must seek other alternatives.

You can apply for a diploma programme in the school. Or, totally switch your interest to a college of education or private polytechnic through JAMB change of course/institution form.

Departmental cut-off mark

The funny thing is that making 120 or more in JAMB is not enough to win you admission into Akwa Ibom College of Arts and Science. Your aggregate (from JAMB and post UTME) must be enough also to beat the target set by the departments.

So, below is a summary of the cut-off marks for different courses offered in the institution:
