Niger Delta University was established in the year 2000 during the tenure of Alamieyeseigha. It is located at Wilberforce Island, Amassoma.
Currently, the school has about 16,000 students. They run both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
As a public university, NDU accepts applicants of all backgrounds. But only candidates who met the admission criteria will scale through the admission process.
