Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) is a federal government owned university located in Birnin Kebbi, the capital city of Kebbi State. FUBK is listed among the youngest federal universities in Nigeria since it was established on the 18th February, 2013.

Academic activities officially kicked off in the school in the 2014/2015 academic session with 507 students and 102 staff. Since then, the school has continued to grow and today, there are four faculties in the university.

The pioneer Vice Chancellor of FUBK is Prof. Lawal Suleiman, the former VC of Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.

What are the admission requirements for courses in FUBK?

The admission requirements for Federal University Birnin Kebbi are:

Candidates seeking admission through the UTME method must have at least 5 credits in their O’ Level, which must include English Language and Mathematics and three other subjects relevant in their chosen choice of course.
