A BIT ABOUT FEDERAL UNIVERSITY DUTSE
Federal University, Dutse is one of the Federal universities in Nigeria established in 2011 by the Federal Government of Nigeria. It is located in the ancient city of Dutse, the capital city of Jigawa State.
The University started with 205 students in their first year but they have about 3,200 students now. The university organised their first convocation ceremony in 2016.
Federal University, Dutse does both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The school continues to seek diverse quality of students and lecturers and contribute to research and the development of the region and country at large.

What are the admission requirements for FUD?
- UTME candidates seeking admission into FUD must have at least five (5) credits in their O’Level certificate (WASSCE, NECO or NABTEB); English Language and Mathematics including three other subjects relevant in your field are what should constitute these five subjects.
- You will also need to score above the cut-off mark of your chosen department.
When does FUD hold their Post UTME?
The post UTME form or application of FUD has not started. But in previous years, the post UTME application starts between June to August while the exam holds between August and September. So, you can prepare your mind against these periods stated.
How can I gain admission into FUD?
The truth is that there is no trick to gaining admission into the Federal University Dutse. You must put in effort and struggle. We will advise you take care of the following:
