BENEFITS OF WORKING AS A TEACHER

It is understandable that there are no jobs in Nigeria and you want to settle for just any one. Teaching job is treated scornfully by many because it is not usually a high paying job.

That is understandable too, owing to the fact that there are loads of financial responsibilities facing any grown man/woman in Nigeria. But then, there must be teachers; you may need that extra push to stay convinced that teaching can leave you fulfilled.

Here are the benefits of working as teacher, especially in Lagos:

  1. Teaching will give you the opportunity to spark creativity in younger ones for nation building.
  2. As a teacher, you may not have all the money but you will get the opportunity to share your passion and expertise with others.
  3. Teachers are never old; you will always be fresh with ideas and knowledge in the world’s dynamic trends.
  4. You will be exposed to various lifestyles, behaviors or characters as a teacher. This will give you the ability to learn how to adapt to anything life presents.
  5. Good students never forget a good teacher; your impact in a child remains with him as a legacy you left in him/her.
