Delta State University is a state-owned university located in Abraka. It was founded by the Delta State government in the year 1992.

Aside from the main campus in Abraka, DELSU has two other campuses in Asaba and Oleh. Students of the university number over 36,000.

As a public university, DELSU offers admission to candidates from every. But they only admit candidates who have followed their admission process and met their criteria.

This would involve scoring their JAMB cut-off mark and having the right O’Level grades.
