The school we know today as Ambrose Alli University is state university of Edo State government. It is located in Ekpoma.
The school was established in 1981 as Bendel State University. On creation of Edo and Delta States from the defunct Bendel State, the University’s name changed.
It was named after Ambrose Folorunsho Alli, in whose administration the school was founded.
As a public tertiary institution, AAU admits candidates of all backgrounds. However, candidates who will gain admission are ones who met the desired criteria.
This would include scoring their cut-off mark and having the right O’Level grades.
