Benue State University Makurdi (BSUM) is one of the state-owned universities in Nigeria. It is located in Makurdi, the capital city of Benue State.
The school was established in 1992 and as of 2015, BSUM had over 32,000 students. It is a public tertiary institution. As such, they admit candidates of any background.
