Nigerian Army University, Biu (NAUB) is a University run by the Nigerian Army as strategic part of the ongoing repositioning of the Nigerian military.
The university which matriculated its first set of students in the 2018/2019 session was created to provide solution to the technological, research and various other challenges being faced by the Nigeria Army, the military and the entire nation.
The university currently consists of 5 faculties. The largest of these facilities at the moment is the Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences. This faculty has a total of 18 departments.
The total number of departments in the school is 39. All these offer undergraduate programmes. This institution is recognised as the first green university in Africa as a whole. This means that it provides its own energy, water, natural resources, etc.
NAUB ADMISSION PROCEDURE
In order to gain provisional admission into the Nigerian Army University, Biu, you would have to meet the following requirements;
First of all, you will need to score at least 160 in the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination. This is because 160 is the General JAMB cut-off mark for the Nigerian Army University, Biu (NAUB).
NAUB conducts their examinations like every other government owned university. Hence, once the forms are out, interested candidates will be required to go get their forms.
