About the University
NDU means Niger Delta University. It is listed among the 40 Nigerian state universities.
The university was established in the year 2000, by the former governor of Bayelsa State, Chief DSP Alamieyeseigha.
NDU is located on two campuses: the Yenegoa main campus, and Amassoma campus. The University also has a teaching hospital called NDUTH, in Okolobiri.
