Deciding on what higher institution to apply to can be a mind-tasking one. More often than not, you have to do background checks on various institutions you have in mind.

If you’re here, I assume it’s because you want to know about the JAMB cut-off mark of the Sokoto State university.

This might be to help you decide on the institution you would want to apply to or to scale your chances of actually gaining admission having seen your UTME score.

Nevertheless, you need not look further. In this article, we have given you the SSU JAMB cut-off mark and a couple of other information about the school.

Follow me now as we delve into the business of the moment.

What is the JAMB Cut-off Mark for Sokoto State University?

The UTME cut-off mark of the University is 160.

You must realize that scoring 160 in your JAMB is not an automatic ticket to admission.

It only means that those who score up to 160 in JAMB will be eligible to apply and sit for SSU’s Post-UTME exams.

Seeing that the admission process in SSU is a competitive one, we usually advise candidates to aim to score up to 200 in order to stand a good chance of gaining admission.

On the other hand, if you do not make this minimum point, you can apply for the change of course/institution.

Then switch your choice of institution to a new one whose cut-off mark accommodates your score.

But if you feel you’d rather attend this institution, you can wait another year and write Jamb again.
