One of the most important things we usually advise aspiring undergraduates to do is to carry out their research. Not any research, though, I’m talking about their research concerning their intended institution of learning.
One form of such forms of research is the JAMB Cut-off mark for the institution.
Besides the obvious fact that it gives you a glimpse of what to expect in the years to come, it also somewhat creates a target in your mind that helps you channel your energy and motivation while studying.
A target you would need to meet to gain provisional admission into the institution.
So apart from the JAMB cut-off mark for the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU), we have also given you their departmental cut-off marks.
We also answered a few questions beforehand that we feel are likely to pop up in your head during this read.
So do read attentively in order not to miss important details.
What is the JAMB Cut-off Mark for Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Kastina?
The official JAMB cut-off mark for the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Kastina is 170.
Please note that scoring 170 is no guarantee for gaining provisional admission into the university. What it does mean is that only those who score above 170 in UTME will stand a chance to gain admission into the institution by passing through their various admission processes.
However, the higher your score, the higher the chances of you gaining admission into the institution. This is why we usually advise candidates to try and score up to 200 to improve their chances.
Perchance you did not score up to 170, you can always apply for the JAMB change of course/institution. This way, you can easily switch choice schools from UMYU.
If that is not OK by you, it is not a bad idea to wait for next year when you will go through the JAMB registration and admission processes again.
Then, you will need to buckle up the more, learn how to pass JAMB, and score higher.
