The JAMB cut-off mark of UNIMAID is 180. This is the same for all universities in Nigeria except the ones in the educationally less privileged states.

What this means is that if you do not make up to 180 point in your JAMB UTME, you will not be eligible to buy the school’s Post UTME form and stand the chance of gaining admission. So as a UNIMAID aspirant, you will have to brace up and study hard and smart.

You would need to score from 200 points and above to have a better chance. Perhaps you are not sure about how to score high in JAMB, this guide can be of good help.

NOTE: The figures in the table above should be taken as a mere guide and not as the actual cut-off marks from the University.

At the time of publishing this post, the official list of departmental mark of UNIMAID had not be released. We shall keep you updated when it is published.

Is UNIMAID a Federal University?

Yes, University is listed among the federal universities in Nigeria. The State University in Borno State is rather called Borno State University.

Does University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) write Post UTME?

Yes, the University of Maiduguri organizes the post UTME screening exercise candidates who score up to 180 in JAMB. The sale of the UNIMAID post UTME is usually open between July and September of every year.

Is UNIMAID competitive?

First, you must know that gaining admission into any tertiary institution is not a piece of cake; you will sweat in study and other forms of preparation.

So, UNIMAID is a bit competitive. The issue of insurgency in Borno State obviously scares applicants away.

I must commend you if you made it up till this point from the start; I must be certain you have gotten one of two piece of information about the JAMB cut-off mark of UNIMAID.
