UNN means University of Nigeria, Nsukka. As one of the premier universities in Nigeria, UNN is one of the top universities in Nigeria today. UNN is located in Nsukka, Enugu State.

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka was established in 1955 by Nnamdi Azikiwe, although the university was officially opened on 7th October, 1960. Today, UNN has four campuses dispersed in Nsukka, Enugu and Ituku-Ozalla. The school also has an extension in Aba, Abia State.

  • Apply for JAMB choosing UNN as your first choice of institution. Never put it in the second choice.
  • One of the admission requirements of UNN is that aspiring students must be at least 16 years of age. So if you fall below, I think staying at home for a year would not be a bad advice.
  • Aspiring undergraduate students must have at least 5 credits in O’ Level with English and Mathematics included. This must be obtained in not more than 2 sittings.

  2. Multiply your JAMB score with 0.6 and multiply your post UTME score with 0.4.
